WHO IS RUSH INDUSTRIES?
RUSH INDUSTRIES INC. is one of the largest full-service panel processing facilities in the Southeast United States. Established in 1987, the company is privately held. The company operates its own state of the art, enhanced production facilities in bringing its line of RTA products to the home furnishings and retail industry. In addition to manufacturing its own product line, RUSH is a prime resource manufacturer providing OEM products and services to other customers, within and outside of, the furniture trade. Visual Presentations division of RUSH manufacturers custom Sample Books and Swatch Books for the apparel, furniture, chemical, flooring and automotive industries.
The main production facility (RCD) includes over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space under one roof, including full woodworking facilities and a cut & sew operation. Specific inventories of raw materials and elemental components are maintained at all time, allowing RUSH the ability to turn quickly for its OEM customers. Companies looking to outsource production, whether it be for sewn parts or products, furniture or cabinet parts, display components, laminated stock, precision parts, soft-forming, panel cutting and/or drilling, or complete products, are encouraged to contact RUSH with their needs.
WHERE ARE THEY LOCATED?
RUSH's main manufacturing facilityis located in Americus, GA, approximately 2-1/2 hours south of Atlanta. RCD has an excellent geographic location for shipping products throughout the United States. Its close proximity to the ports of Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL offer excellent accessibility to International export and import opportunities.
The company' maintains a showroom and office conveniently located in the heart of the furniture district in downtown High Point, NC. RUSH is an active participant in the International Home Furnishing Market, the largest furniture market of its kind in the world. Every Spring and Fall, High Point becomes a temporary home to a global community of Exhibitors and Buyers in the market for furniture and related products. RUSH maintains a 12,000 square foot showroom, open to Buyers during the market and by appointment inbetween.
WHAT ARE THEIR CAPABILITIES
Custom services and products are provided to OEM customers, other manufacturers and wholesalers on a contract basis. In addition to laminating, RUSH can paint and print, cut rout, tenon, dreill, slot, soft-form, shape, bevel and bore almost any kind of panel desired including hardboard, industrial particleboard, MDF, imported and domestic hardwood plywood.
